Who:
J123 racers. 20 spots available, first come/first serve.
What:
2 days of Slalom, GS and Freeski training.
When:
2/18/12 - Depart from St. Louis Park Home Depot at 6:30am
- Freeski from 3:00 - 4:00, train from 4:00 - 7:00pm
2/19/12 - Train from 10:00 - 12:00, freeski from 12:00 - 2:00
- Depart at 2:30pm, arrive at Home Depot at 8:00pm

J3's - Train on challenging terrain the weekend before Marquette Championships.
J12's - Train on challenging terrain the weekend before the Nagy FIS race.
Cost:
$325 check / $340 online. Includes transportation, lodging, lift tickets, coaching, lane space.
Does not include food.
Other:
Please have your skis tuned and ready to go when we leave for the trip!! Be hydrated and ready for high volume training on challenging terrain.
FYI --
- The Canada Border Services Agency suggests identification such as an original birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport, or immigration document. If none of these are available, get a letter stating that you are the children's parent or guardian from your doctor or lawyer, or from the hospital where the children were born.
- Adults who are not parents or guardians should have written permission from the parents or guardians to supervise the children, including the name and contact information of the parent / guardian
- Even if you are not divorced from the child's other parent, bring the other parent's written permission to take the child over the border. Include contact information so border guard can call the other parent if necessary.
- Adults / Guardians should travel in the same vehicle as their children when arriving at the border.

I've had a few request to keep up the tuning clinics. I'll offer a wax only clinic tonight at the Comp Center. Bring your questions and come on down to the basement during the J3456 training tonight.

What: Just a waxing clinic, no edge work
Why: Because everyone wants fast skis - especially at Lutsen

We’ll cover basic tools, iron types, temps of iron, wax application, hot scraping, travel wax prep, cold temp wax scraping, brushing and sidewall prep.

Join us for the 3rd annual MLK Camp (Snowbird, Utah) Jan. 14 - 16
The third annual mountain terrain camp is ready to go. Keeping in line with USSA’s recommendations in youth ski racing development we’re offering a very special Mountain Terrain experience. DJ Walling, David Samuels, Scott Patterson and Liz Sherry will lead our Gilboa Athletes to the land of Steeps, Deep, Trees & Chutes. While the idea of mountain skiing doesn’t always come to mind in racing development, it’s truly the most common suggestion from the worlds best racers & leaders of USSA. It's an exciting month for Gilboa racers and coaches. This upcoming Sunday we kick off the Jr Race "Sunday Race Series", compete in the USSA Spirit race and compete in the MID AM Loch Lomond FIS race in Ontario, Canada. The following week Gilboa heads to Utah for the MLK Terrain Camp. And that's just the first two weeks.
Let the racing begin!
