Last weekend at the Vail Smartwool, Peter Albertson was the top J3 in Super G 1, and second in Super G 2, this is a huge accomplishment for a Central athlete to compete at a high level in a speed event.
Lauren Samuels is currently in second place in the Smartwool overall standings, after having finished 2nd in slalom and 3rd in GS last week in Vail. This also is a huge accomplishment, Lauren has skied well in all disciplines and holding on to second in overall, while having missed some of the races shows the depth of her skiing.
Maddie Strachota skied to 14th place in the GS at the J2 Olympics Tuesday, this is a great showing in a field of all the best J2 athletes in the country.
